Location: Nenagh, Co. Tipperary
Project Size: 350 Tonnes of Pre-Fabricated steel structure.
Features: The main workshop area is a double span portal frame spanning 54m and 20 bays long. The offices and showrooms are a beam and column 2 story steel design with precast floor and stairs. To minimize the overall build programme the finished floor slab was completed before steel was erected. To prevent damage to the finished floor slab during steel delivery and erection, ODS took precautions such as storing main steel elements on stillages and using a trolley system when lifting the portal frames from the slab. This system prevented the steel scraping along the floor as it was being hoisted.
